Inspiration 💭

Illustration inspired by Rounhaa's three projects "Möbius", "Jaafar" and "Salaam" 🕌🌴🍊

With this illustration I wanted to bring Rounhaa's three albums together in a single image, tracing how his philosophy evolved. I split it into three parts, each carrying the color of the album it stands for. Behind him in red, Möbius — the loop you never get out of, a desert kind of solitude. The two figures and the reflection in the water, in blue, that's Jaafar: the unease is still there, but he starts to find a way out through love and through faith. And finally the green background, that's Salaam — a more committed album carrying a message of peace, embodied by the gesture of pouring tea, in a calm garden with Islamic aesthetics.
